20 Preparations

20.1 Installation

Place the water bath on a horizontal and level surface.
Risk of explosion
The device is not suitable for use in potentially explosive environments.
Hazards caused by the input material (samples)
The intended use of the water baths includes tempering samples in test
tubes, Erlenmeyer flasks, etc., i.e. dipping them in.
We do not know what substances these vessels contain.
Many substances are:
inflammable, flammable or explosive

harmful

polluting

in other words: dangerous
The user bear sole responsibility for handling these substances.
Close sample containers properly if necessary.

Electrochemical oxidation, risk of corrosion on racks or
samples made of non-ferrous metals.
Avoid the use of insert racks and samples made of non-ferrous

metal.
Only use original JULABO insert racks.

