29Follow all charging instructions and
do not charge the battery pack or
appliance outside of the tempera-
ture range specified in the instruc-
tions. Charging improperly or at
temperatures outside of the speci-
fied range may damage the battery
and increase the risk of fire.
30Have servicing performed by a qual-
ified repair person using only identi-
cal replacement parts. This will
ensure that the safety of the product
is maintained.
31Do not modify or attempt to repair
the appliance or the battery pack (as
applicable) except as indicated in
the instructions for use and care.
32The carrying system is equipped
with a quick-release mechanism so
that it can be removed quickly in a
hazardous situation. To do this,
press the buckles of the chest and
hip belts, remove the carrying sys-
tem and place it on the ground.
Charger: GROUNDING
INSTRUCTIONS
● This appliance must be grounded. If
it should malfunction or break down,
grounding provides a path of least
resistance for electric current to re-
duce the risk of electric shock.
● This appliance is equipped with a
cord having an equipment ground-
ing conductor and ground plug.
● The plug must be inserted into an
appropriate outlet that is properly in-
stalled and grounded in accordance
with all local codes and ordinances.
● This appliance is for use on a nomi-
nal 120-volt circuit, and has a
grounded plug that looks like the
plug illustrated in Fig.A.

General notes
Before using the device for
the first time, read the origi-
nal instructions that are supplied with
the device, battery pack and charger.
Proceed accordingly.
Keep the booklets for future reference
or for future owners.
● Failure to follow the operating in-
structions can result in damage to
the device and danger to the opera-
tor or other persons.
● Inform the dealer immediately in the
event of any shipping damage.
● Battery pack and charger are not in-
cluded in the scope of delivery.
● When unpacking, check the pack-
age contents for missing accesso-
ries or signs of damage.
Environmental
The packing materials can be re-
cycled. Please dispose of packag-
ing in accordance with the
environmental regulations.
