Locking and safety devices
WARNING
Never tamper with or by-pass the locking and safety
devices.
- Safety valve and/or relief valve.
The safety valve is also a relief valve.
When the delivery line closes, the valve opens and
the water recirculates through the pump intake or is
discharged onto the ground.
Intended use
The electric pump is designed and built for incorporation
in machinery and plant systems (construction machinery,
machinery used to strip paint from building walls,
machinery for washing raw materials, finished products,
road washing, high pressure washers, etc.).
Misuses
Do not put the electric pump into service until the
plant or machinery in which it is incorporated has been
declared compliant with the relevant national and local
legal requirements.
Do not use the electric pump in a potentially explosive
atmosphere.
Do not use the electric pump for flammable, toxic or
corrosive liquids, or for those with an unsuitable density.
Do not take in liquids at temperatures higher than those
specified in the technical data.
Do not use the electric pump for the supply of drinking
water.
Residual risks
The manufacturer paid particular attention to safety
aspects during the design and construction phase but
the risks described below however remain.
Risk of crushing limbs: during the movement and
handling of the electric pump, incorrect operations can
cause injuries to the people performing the operations.
Handle the packaging and the electric pump as indicated
in this manual.
Heat risk: depending on the temperature of the liquid
pumped, the electric pump may reach high temperatures
when in operation.
Let the electric pump cool down before performing any
intervention.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
- Thermostat valve (where fitted)
If the water temperature exceeds the temperature set
by the manufacturer, the thermostat valve discharges
the hot water and draws in an amount of cold water
equal to the amount of water discharged, until the
correct temperature is restored.
The electric pump must be used in a manner appropriate
to its technical data (see "Technical Data"), and must not
be modified or improperly used.
Do not use the electric pump on products for human
consumption.
Do not use the electric pump on pharmaceutical
products.
Do not use the electric pump on liquids at risk of causing
biological, microbiological or radioactive contamination.
Do not install the electric pump in machines or systems
that require a higher protection class (IP) than that
indicated on the electric motor's data plate.
Risk of electrocution: electrical discharge from
damaged electrical components (such as the power
cable and plug, etc.) can lead to injury.
Electric shock from contacting the terminals of the open
electrical connection box will lead to injury.
Switch off the electric pump before performing any
intervention.
Risk of emitting of pressurised fluid: The lines, fittings
and joints can cause injury. Only use high pressure lines,
fittings and joints recommended by the manufacturer.
