When connecting the plug to the socket the appliance must be turned off.
Only use the appliance for the intended use.
The carafe is only suited for this coffee maker. Never use it on a cooking stove.
Never place a hot carafe on a hot or wet surface.
A broken carafe or a carafe of which the handle is loose may no longer be used.
Don't clean the carafe with abrasive cleaners, rough spounge or other harsh cleaners.
The carafe cannot be heated up in a microwave oven.
ATTENTION : Never open the the bottom of the appliance, repairs need to be done by
a qualifi ed electrician. Otherwise you run the risk of burns or electric shock.

Check if the household current is the same as the current mentioned on the appliance.
Never fi ll the water tank above the max. indicated level.
Never add water when the appliance is still working. Turn off the appliance, let it cool

Don't touch the cord or the hot surface of the appliance when it is working.
Don't use any abrasive cleaners or rough spounge for cleaning the appliance.
POWER CORD
The appliance has a short power cord to prevent tripping or entaglement.
Be very carefull when using an extention cord.
