Children must not use the toaster. If there are children nearby when the toaster is in
operation, special precautions should be taken to ensure that the children do not play with
it.
⚫
It is not permitted to take bread out of the toaster using improvised tools such as knives,
etc.
DEVICE MAINTENANCE
⚫
Before carrying out any maintenance work, the toaster must be switched off, disconnected
from the mains and cooled down.
⚫
Outer surfaces: to keep the surfaces shiny, it is recommended to wipe them daily with a
damp cloth. Persistent stains can be removed with a non-abrasive detergent or a special
cleaner for stainless steel. Hard to reach areas are cleaned with a small brush and a neutral
soap solution. The use of abrasives is not recommended, as they can cause scratches that
impair the appearance of the toaster and contribute to the rapid contamination of surfaces.
⚫
Crumb tray and toast tray: take the trays off, wash them with soap, rinse with clean water
and wipe dry.
⚫
Loading tray: remove the tray by pressing down on the two pins and pulling them out of
the guides on the toaster body. Wipe the tray with a soft, damp cloth or soak it in a solution
of ammonia (227 ml of alcohol per 3.785 L of water). Reinsert the tray by inserting the
rods into the guides.
⚫
Lubrication: the gearmotor and toaster conveyor mechanisms do not require additional
lubrication.
