TOASTER OPERATION
5) Temperature

Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet and turn on the toaster.
⚫
Set the switch to the "Bread" position. The corresponding indicator lights up.
⚫
To heat up the toaster, turn the temperature knob to the lowest temperature position. It
can take 10 to 15 minutes to heat up.
⚫
Once the toaster has heated up, turn the temperature knob to the desired position.
⚫
Bread coated with butter or another product (garlic bread, cheese sandwiches, etc.) must
not be toasted because the fat and oil settle on the inside of the toaster, form soot and
may cause a fire.
CLEANING

Before cleaning, the toaster must be switched off, disconnected from the mains and cooled.
⚫
Do not use abrasives or cleaning agents.
⚫
Do not wash the appliance under running water or a water jet.
⚫
Clean with a soft, damp cloth and a small amount of cleaner.
⚫
During cleaning it is necessary to prevent water from entering the electrical connections
and control knobs.
OTHER SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

The toaster should be lifted with caution because it is very heavy.
⚫
The toaster's outer surfaces may become very hot when in operation.

Before reinstalling or moving the toaster, disconnect it from the mains and let it cool down.

Do not disassemble the toaster or repair internal parts that are not intended for user
maintenance.

A damaged power cord may only be replaced by a qualified specialist.
