STARTING THE ENGINE
Before using the flail mower for the first time, study this section and read carefully.
The operator has to stay in the hatched
safety zone.

Place clutch lever (3) to OFF. In this posi-
tion, the parking brake is activated.

Turn engine start switch (6) to ON.
NOTE :
After the machine unpacking, during the first engine starting or after a period of remisage or win-
tering, it is necessary to pull several tens of time on the recoil starter to fill the tub of the carbu-
rettor, the pump and start the circuit.
The engine starting up will be made correctly only after complete priming of the fuel circuit with some new and not cut
unleaded gasoline

OPERATION

Open the fuel cock (1).

Place throttle control (4) to mid range.

Pull recoil starter (7) sharply.
(See NOTE below)

Place starter knob (5) to OPEN.
During summer period, or in case engine
has already become worm, the starter
knob (5) should be the position CLOSE or
mid range.

Place shift lever (2) to neutral position N.

After engine starting up, place the starter
knob (5) to CLOSE.
