5. Battery- and fuse replacement

If „ " appears on display, it indicates that the battery should be replaced. The fuse must
only rarely be replaced. Defective fuses are most commonly the result of errors in applica-
tion. To replace the battery or fuse (F250mA/600V;F10A/600V) remove the 2 screws in the
bottom of the housing. Simply remove the old battery/fuse and replace it with a new one.
Be careful not to mix up the battery polarity.
WARNING
Before attempting to open the housing, be sure that test leads have been disconnected
from circuits being measured. Close housing and tighten screws completely before using the
meter in order to avoid electrical shock hazard. Otherwise there is a danger of electric shock!
