REPLACING THE CONTROL BOARD
1.
Perform the Pressure Relief Procedure and unplug the sprayer.
2.
Loosen and remove the six screws (Fig. 16, item 1) that secure the
front enclosure (2) to the main control box (3).
3.
Unplug all wire connections (motor wires, potentiometer, LED,
and ON/OFF switch) from the front enclosure to the control
board (refer to Electrical Schematic, page 55).
4.
Unplug the transducer wire (4) from the control board. The
grommet will come out when the filter assembly is removed,
save for reinstallation.
5.
Loosen and remove the four screws (5) that secure the filter
assembly cover (6) to the main control box (3).

Remove the filter assembly (7). The fluid hose (7) does not need
to be removed but take care not to damage it.

Using a 1/4" socket or nut driver, remove the ground wire (Fig. 18,
item 9). Unplug the power cord (10) connections from the control
board. Remove the power cord.

Loosen and remove the bolt (Fig. 19, item 11) that secures the
control box assembly (3) to the skid or cart.

Loosen and remove the two screws (12) and washers (13) that
secure the control box assembly to the main unit.

Remove the rubber plug (14) from the old control box. Reinstall
the rubber plug (14) from the old control box into the new one.

Reinstall the new control box assembly. Secure with the screws
removed in steps 8-9, above.
12.
Reconnect the power cord back to the control board (see
Electrical Schematic, page 55). Re-secure the power cord ground
wire with the ground screw (9).
13.
Reverse the previous steps to reinstall the components. Align
the filter assembly (7) with the flat on the enclosure and slide the
grommet into the enclosure (flat side of the grommet facing out).
Plug the transducer wire into the control board (see Electrical
Schematic, page 55).
14.
Reconnect the wire connections (motor wires, potentiometer,
LED, and ON/OFF switch from the front enclosure (2) to the
control board (see Electrical Schematic, page 55).
15.
Replace the front enclosure (2) and secure with the six screws (1)
provided with the replacement controller.
16.
Replace the filter cover (5) and secure with the four screws (4)
provided with the replacement controller.
