it has been attached any more – except for mainte-
nance purposes.
Attention:
Before using the unit, make sure the vacuum bag
tube is correctly seated and fixed with screws.
Removing the vacuum bag
1. Remove the 4 self-tapping screws securing the vac-
uum bag on two sides to the debris exhaust tube on
the blower housing (Fig. 6).
2. Pull the vacuum bag tube from the debris exhaust
tube and detach the vacuum bag from the vacuum
bag hook.
INSTALLING AND ADJUSTING THE SHOULDER
HARNESS
NOTE: Have the shoulder harness on and adjusted
(but not clipped to the support fitting) prior to starting
the unit.
1. Push the strap through the centre opening of the
buckle.
2. Put the strap over the cross bar and push it through
the foremost slot in the buckle (Fig. 7).
3. Fully extend the harness.
4. Attach the metal clip of the shoulder harness to the
support fitting on the handle (Fig. 8).
5. Put the harness so that it lies over the right shoulder
(Fig. 9).
6. While standing in the operating position (Fig. 9) ad-
just the length to fit your height.
• Extend the harness by pulling down on the strap
while lifting the buckle end up (Fig. 10).
• Shorten the harness by pulling the strap back
through the buckle while holding the buckle (Fig. 10).
