Stor-Dry
Model 9406 - SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
The Stor-Dry Warm Air Circulator combats mold and mildew by reducing the amount of
moisture available for spores to grow and multiply. This is accomplished using a unique
dual action that utilizes both a low wattage heating element and a fan to circulate air.
Operating Instructions
Simply plug the unit into the appropriate outlet. Red LED indicates when unit is
operating. Make sure that airfl ow is not restricted. The heater has been designed for
continuous operation. Current draw is less than a 100 watt light bulb.
NOTE: The key to keeping any area free of moisture is proper ventilation.
CAUTION! Surface is hot, avoid contact.
WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
Care and Maintenance
The Stor-Dry
requires very little maintenance. By following the instructions within this
manual the heater will operate problem-free for years.
Unplug unit before cleaning. A vacuum can be used to clear the heater of any dust
build-up and a dry cloth may be used to wipe the outer surface.
Do not attempt to open the unit to clean.

Operation
An internal blower pulls cool, damp air in the bottom and releases warm dry air through
the top. Active air circulation technology raises the ambient temperature above the dew
point to control mold and mildew. Designed for low
cost continuous use.
The amount of water vapour air can hold (absolute
humidity) increases with temperature. The Stor-Dry
low wattage heating element slightly warms the
room's air to keep the moisture suspended rather than
condensing on surfaces where mold spores can use it
to grow.
Secondly, the Stor-Dry
fan keeps a small amount of
air moving throughout the room to help prevent any
moisture from condensing on surfaces to again impede
the growth of mold spores.
