Installation of the freezer
After unpacking it, place the freezer in the selected position, following the
instructions below to ensure maximum performance and safety.
1) Make sure the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage indicated on the
rating plate. A tollerance of +/- 10% is permitted.
2) Place the freezer on a flat surface. For best results it is indispensable for it to
be perfectly levelled.
3) Avoid placing the appliance in direct sunlight, or near heat sources such as
stoves, radiators etc...
4) Place the freezer in a well ventilated place avoiding niches that obstruct the
passage of air to the motor compartment, between it and the walls or other
freezers there must be a space of a leats 100 mm.
Temperature adjustment
The temperature inside the freezer is conditioned by:
--- room temperature
--- position of the appliance
--- frequency of opening lid or glass
In view of above, the first adjustment is made in the factory. Turn the indicator
on the dial toward 1 to raise the temperature; turn it toward 7 to lower the
temperature.
Maintenance and cleaning
Before cleaning the appliance, unplug it from the power outlet:
--- clean with a dry cloth; in case of stubborn stains use water and neutral
detergent; rinse well and dry.
--- use a solution of water (9 parts) and vinegar (1 part) to clean the inside; rinse
with a damp sponge and dry.
--- clean the plastic frames with neutral soap and warm water.
DO NOT USE ABRASIVE DETERGENTS OR SOLVENTS.
it is very important to keep this part clean for the performance and
Condenser:
safety of the appliance. Dust and waste deposit easily on the condenser and
prevent heat dispersions. At least twice a year clean the condenser with a
vacuum cleaner.
it is important to defrost the freezer to remove the ice accumulated
Defrosting:
on the walls that prevents transmission of the cold (when it is about 5 mm thick).
To defrost the freezer: unplug it, close the appliance and wait about half an
hour, clean.
