SPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHARGER
WARNING Read all safety warnings, instructions, illustrations and specifications provided
with this power tool. Failure to follow the instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire
and/or serious injury.
Before charging your battery, carefully inspect its packaging for damage or deformation. If there is
any damage, do not charge it.
Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
- This appliance may be used by children of at least 8 years of age and by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lacking experience or knowledge, if they are properly
supervised or if they have been given instructions on the safe use of the appliance and are aware
of the risks involved. Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance by the
user should not be performed by unsupervised children.
- Make sure that the charger is not left in the reach of children.
- If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service department
or similarly qualified persons to avoid danger.
- Read the instructions before charging.
- Never charge a swollen, leaking or damaged battery.
- Do not use the charger for any other battery than the appropriate one.
- Make sure that the charger is suitable for the power supplied by the mains
- Use the charger only, do not expose to rain or moisture.
- Do not short-circuit the terminals of the battery or the charger.
- Observe the polarity of the battery on the charger
- Make sure that the connections of the battery and the charger are not obstructed by foreign
objects.
- Do not charge near flammable materials, liquids or solids, wooden furniture etc.
- Do not overcharge a battery.
- Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
- The optimum ambient temperature during charging is between 18°C and 24°C.
- Do not store the battery in a place that is too hot (above 40°C) or too cold (0°C). Ideally, the
ambient temperature should be between 0° and 40°C. For example, do not leave your battery in
a vehicle or in direct sunlight.
