Programme knob and On/Off indicator
light
• The selection of a washing programme oc-
curs by turning the programme knob
clockwise or anticlockwise, until the pro-
gramme marker, placed on the knob, cor-
responds with the desired washing pro-
gramme indicated on the control panel.
( For the selection of the correct pro-
gramme, refer to 'Washing programmes' ).
The On/Off indicator light comes on (posi-
tion ON )
Indicator lights
Comes on when the washing and rinsing phases
are running.
Comes on when the drying phase is running.
Comes on when the washing programme has
ended. It also has added functions of visual sig-
nalling as:
• the setting of the water softener,
• intervention of an alarm due to the malfunction
of the machine.
Comes on when the special salt has run out.
Comes on when the rinse aid has run out.
• To switch off the appliance turn the pro-
gramme knob until the programme marker
corresponds with the On/Off indicator
light. The On/Off indicator light goes off
(position OFF ).
With the programme knob it is also pos-
sible to set the level of the water soften-
er.
