For defrosting, remove the frozen food from its packaging and place the food on a plate. Techniques are as follows:
Covering
Cover thin pieces with small aluminum strips before defrosting. During defrosting, also cover partially thawed or warm pieces
with aluminum strips. This prevents the thinner pieces from becoming too hot while the thicker pieces are still frozen.
Turning/ Stirring
Almost al foods require to turn over or stir once during defrosting. Separate pieces that stick together as soon as possible
and rearrange them.
Smaller portions
Smaller portions defrost more evenly and faster than large portions. Devide the food, therefore, into small portions before
