1. Before washing, the power plug has to be dis-
connected from the power socket. Let the heat-
ing pad cool down for at least 10 minutes.
2. Now, disconnect the connection adapter from
the socket on the heating element and take
the power cord with the control element off the
heating pad.
Caution: Power cord, control element, connec-
tion adapter and power cord must never come
into contact with water!

3. Wash the cover and the heating element either
on the delicate cycle of the washing machine at
a max. temperature of 30°C or hand-wash both
items in lukewarm water. To do that, place the
heating element and the cover in the bathtub,
add lukewarm water and a small amount of mild
detergent and carefully squeeze it out. Caution:
Never crease or wring out! After that, rinse both
items repeatedly in lukewarm water until all
detergent residues are washed out. Leave both
parts to air dry, lying flat on a towel. No items
must be placed on the heating element or the
cover.
4. When the heating element and the cover are
completely dry, pull the cover back over the
heating element and connect the connection
adapter to the socket. You can now start using
the appliance again or put it into storage.
