REMOVAL
1. Remove:
•
Y.P.V.S. valve assembly
NOTE:
Put identification marks on each valve for refer-
ence during reinstallation.

INSPECTION
1. Eliminate:
•
Carbon deposit
(from the valve)
Use the rounded scraper 1.
CAUTION:
Do not use a sharp instrument. Avoid damaging
or scratching the surface.

2. Eliminate:
•
Carbon deposit
(from the cylinder)
Use the rounded scraper 1.
CAUTION:
Do not use a sharp instrument. Avoid damaging
or scratching the surface.

ASSEMBLY
1. Install:
•
Oil seal 1
NOTE:
Install the oil seal so that there is a distance a
between its end and the end of valve housing 1 2.

0 ~ 0.5 mm (0 ~ 0.02 in)

2. Install:
•
Y.P.V.S. cable pulley 1
NOTE:
Install the screw 2 through the rounded side of
the shaft 3 as shown.
