tioned terminals.
If the heat exchanger is connected to an independent boiler
dedicated only to the hot-tub, it is possible to control its start-ups
and shutdowns, as well as water circulation.
To run the system in the manner described, there is a 24 V
output in the electrical box. The 24 V is present in the terminals
only when water heating is activated, following the same oper-
ating logic as the electrical heater.
To connect the terminals with a remote switch that controls
the circulation pump, or solenoid valve, installed on the primary
circuit of the heat exchanger, an M16 cable clamp has been pro-
vided in the factory (

(

pak (terminal block M3 on the electronic card) is to made with a
normalized cable with a cross section of 2x1.5 mm² minimum,
which the installer must adequately protect.
NOTE: the devices connected to the M3 terminal block must
have an input of not more than 100 VA (remote switches of
various types, solenoid valves). This output is in any case
protected by a fuse of 5 A.
JACUZZI EUROPE S.p.A. denies all responsibility:
If installation is carried out by unqualified personnel and/or person-
nel unauthorised to carry out the installation itself.
If current norms and legal provisions regarding the electric systems
of buildings in the country in which installation is carried out are
not complied with.
If the instructions for installation and maintenance contained in
this manual are not followed.
If unsuitable and/or uncertified materials are used for installation.
Hot-tubs are not installed in compliance with the above provisions.
If incorrect operations are performed that reduce the level of pro-
tection of the electrical equipment against water jets, modify the
protection against electrocution due to direct or indirect contact,
or produce abnormal conditions of insulation, current leakage or
overheating.
(Alimia, Sienna, Virginia, Enjoy models) For example, failure to cre-
ate a siphon on the blower pipe (
sheet) in models that provide for this function considerably reduces
the degree of protection against electrocution.

2, 2a, 3, 3a preinstallation
Functional chcks and first start-up
Check that the filter has been filled with the provided sand
and that connections have been made to the selector valve and
to the ground drainage point.
Check that installation has been carried out in all details (e.g.
perimeter supports), that pipes have been carefully glued, and
that various sleeves and clamps ensure perfect seal. Also check
that the ball valves of the drain pipes are closed.
Make sure that the ball valves of the various pipes that con-
nect the hot-tub to the spa-pak and to the compensation tank
are all open, with the exception of the valves on the filtering
suction line, which must be calibrated properly for best system
operation.
This adjustment is necessary each time the system is drained us-
ing the filtering pump and then refilled.
NOTE: (refer to the respective pre-installation manual) (Alimia,
Sienna, Virginia, Enjoy and Virtus Pro without integrated com-
pensation tanks models) the water that goes to the filter comes in
part from the suction nozzles on the bottom of the tub and in part
from the compensation tank. It is advisable to leave the ball valve
(
2, 2a, 2b, 2c 3, 3a - det.3) located on the bottom nozzles only
partially open, so as to suction about 60-70% from the compensa-
tion tank and approximately 40-30% from the bottom nozzles of
the hot-tub.
Turn on the omnipolar switch located on the power supply
line (see the chapter on connections and electrical safety).
Press the TEST button of the differential switch located up-
stream from the electrical system to which the hot-tub is con-
nected. If it does not trip, it may be faulty or it may have tripped
due to problems in the electrical system.
Disconnect the hot-tub and do not use it until you have elim-
inated the defect.
Fill the system with water, i.e. fill the hot-tub until the over-
flow channel overflows and let it flow into the compensation
tank.
NOTE: If you use the hose for garden work, let water run for a while
before filling the hot-tub. This will eliminate stagnant water in the
hose along with any bacteria which may cause irritations.
Check that the various couplings and clamps provide a per-
fect seal.
You may now stop manual filling with water, since when
you close the safety level switch located on the spa-pak (refer to
the respective pre-installation manual:
Virginia, Enjoy:

of water in the compensation tank also starts via the solenoid
valve.
NOTE: if the level switch does not give permission, the system will
remain shut down, including the filling solenoid. The aforemen-
tioned switch may remain open due to an air pocket. In this case
