Using a Floppy Disk

Inserting the Floppy Disk
Note
Depending on when you insert your media into the unit,
the screen above may not always appear.
Completely insert the floppy disk into the floppy disk
drive.
When you insert the floppy disk into the unit, it is
automatically detected.
Removing the Floppy Disk
When the message prompts you to remove the media,
press the eject button 1, and then pull the floppy disk
from the drive 2.
Note
Depending on when you remove your media from the
unit, the screen above may not always appear.
Note
To prevent losing valuable data or damaging the floppy
disk, never remove the floppy disk from the slot until the
message prompts you to remove it.

Using a CD-ROM or CD-R

When the unit is ready to read image data from a
CD-ROM, or write image data to a CD-R, a message
prompts you to insert the media, and then the CD-R
drive tray opens automatically.
