Possible Causes
• This is normal in a new oven
and will disappear in time.
• An odor from the insulation
around the inside of the oven
is normal for the first few times
the oven is used.
• The convection fan may turn on
and off automatically.
• Preheat temperature
not reached.
• The drawer is out of alignment.
• Drawer is over-loaded or load
is unbalanced.
• A fuse in your home may be blown
or the circuit breaker tripped.
• The oven is self-cleaning.
• Controls improperly set.
• Uncovered foods.
• Temperature setting too high.
• Moisture escaping.
• Drawer not fully closed.

Solutions
• To speed the process, set a self-clean cycle for a
minimum of 3 hours. See the Using the Self-Cleaning
Oven section.
• This is temporary.
• This is normal. The convection fan will run until the
function is over or the door is opened.
• Fan will start automatically once the preheat
temperature is reached.
• Fully extend the drawer and push it all the way in.

• Reduce weight. Redistribute drawer contents.
• Replace the fuse or reset the circuit breaker.
• Wait for the self-clean cycle to finish and the oven
to cool.
