The robot vacuum cleaner
suddenly stops working.
The programming function
does not work.
Suction power level is very
low.
The robot vacuum cleaner
does not charge.
The robot does not return
to the self-emptying base.
The main brush does not
spin.
The robot movements or
route are unusual.
Self-emptying base
Problem
Dirt-disposal bag missing,
or fan does not start.
Check if the robot vacuum cleaner is trapped or stuck with any
obstacle.
Check the battery level.
If the problem persists, turn the robot off and then on again. If the
issue persists, press the RESET button.
Check if the robot battery is too low to turn on.
Check if there are obstructions blocking the air inlet.
Empty the tank.
Clean the filters with a vacuum cleaner or a self-cleaning brush.
Check if the filters are wet.
Dry the filters in a natural way before using them. Make sure they
are completely dry, if there are any moisture remains, they could
reach the motor and damage the robot.
Check if the charging base indicators are on. Otherwise, contact the
official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
Clean the charging terminals with a clean, dry cloth.
Check if the robot beeps when it gets to the charging base. Contact
the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
Remove the objects 1 metre on the left and right, and 2 metres in
front of the charging base.
The robot will return to the charging base faster when it is near it.
When it is far, it will take more time to identify it. Clean the charging
terminals.
Clean the main brush.
Check if the main brush is installed correctly.
Carefully clean the sensors with a clean, dry cloth.
Restart the robot vacuum cleaner. To do this, switch the robot off
and on or do a RESET.
Solution
Check if the dirt-disposal bag is missing–if so, replace the bag.
Check that the dirt-disposal bag is installed correctly.
Frequent emptying may cause overheating or fan failure. Wait a
couple minutes before starting a new emptying.
