SUPRATRONIK LOCK: USER MANUAL
Manual operation of lock
The lock is designed to be operated ma-
nually from the inside as a manual lock
whenever this is desired. Ensure that the
LED (6) of the lock is not lit up before
turning the toggle (5) to either close or
open.
To CLOSE the lock: turn the toggle (5)
clockwise.
To OPEN the lock: turn the toggle (5) in
the anticlockwise.
Alarm (90dB)
This lock is provided with an alarm
function.
ACTIVATING THE ALARM -->
1. You must activate the ALARM switch
(3), moving it to the position closest
away from the antenna (4).
2. You must then press the CLOSE but-
ton (8) on the remote control.
3. You will notice that the red LED flashes
5 times.
DEACTIVATING THE ALARM ->
1. You must press the OPEN button (9)
on the remote control.
2. You must then deactivate the ALARM
switch (3), moving it to the position fur-
thest to the antenna (4).
Any manipulation of the lock without the
lock receiving the opening command via
the remote control (9) will cause the alarm
to sound.
At this time, you can only stop the alarm
with a linked remote control (8) (9). The
alarm will not respond to the ALARM
switch (3).

Safety mode
If the battery of the lock is low, the lock is
designed to go into a SAFETY MODE. In
this mode, if the user attempts to CLOSE
the lock manually, it will immediately open
using the motor.
This will ensure that if the battery is low, it
is not possible to lock manually from insi-
de the house. This is to avoid the danger
that a child or a dependent person who is
alone in the house might lock themselves
in when the lock cannot be opened from
outside with the remote control (because
the battery is dead).
The lock will ensure that the last opera-
tion before the batteries run out is the
opening the lock. This feature prevents
the door remaining locked with dead bat-
teries.
Power supply and batteries
The lock can be powered by:
• 4 alkaline AAA batteries
• External power supply via the mi-
croUSB connector
5VDC 500mA (minimum) Power Supply
section 2.5 of EN60950-1
** The external power 5 to 6 VDC. More
than 6V may damage the circuit.
If the batteries are installed and there is
also an external power supply, the lock
will use external power, and in the event
of a mains power failure the lock will use
the batteries.
We recommend connecting to the mains
with the auxiliary 5VDC 500 mA connec-
tor (connector not included) plus 4 new
AAA alkaline batteries if you are going to
leave the property for a long time.
