What to do...
Remove the battery from the pocket. Verify
that the battery is not attached to a radio.
Verify that the battery is an IMPRES 2 or
other authorized Motorola Solutions Lithium-
Ion battery. Other batteries may not charge.
Clean the IMPRES 2 or other authorized
Motorola Solutions Lithium-Ion battery elec-
trical contacts using a dry cloth.
Remove power from the charger, then clean
the pocket electrical contacts using a dry
cloth.
Try replacing the battery with another IM-
PRES 2 or other authorized Motorola Solu-
tions Lithium-Ion battery. If the fault no lon-
ger exists, take the faulted battery out of
service. If the fault persists with the replace-
ment battery, take the charger out of serv-
ice.
The Potential Capacity of the authentic Motor-
ola Solutions Lithium-Ion battery may be less
than the Ship Lithium limit. The battery may be
nearing End of Life.
The charger pocket is not the standard pock-

A Radio Pocket is a special pocket in which
the battery is attached to a radio, there are
no external contacts on the battery, and
the battery is charged through electrical con-
tacts on the radio.
A Charging Pocket is a pocket that uses
charger energy for a special purpose, such
as USB charging ports.
Move the battery to a standard pocket or re-
place the Radio Pocket or Charging Pocket with
