• After turning the induction hob on all displays come on for a moment. The hob
is ready for operation.
• The hob is fitted with electronic sensors which are switched on if you touch the
relevant circle for at least one second.
• Each time a sensor is activated, an acoustic signal follows.
• Avoid placing any objects on the sensor surface (the hob turns off after 10
sec.).
• Always keep the sensor surface clean.
When the cooking hob is connected to the power supply, the key lock is always
and immediately on. To turn on the cooking hob, first remove the lock by
pressing the key (D).
Touch the sensor (A) for at least one second. The hob is now active, and all
cooking zone power indicators indicate »0«.
Now you need to select the next setting within 10 seconds, otherwise the
hob switches off again.
After turning on the hob using sensor (A), activate one of the cooking zones
within the next 10 seconds.
• Use the sensors (C+) or (C-) to set the desired cooking power from 1 to 9.
As the (C+) or (C-) sensors are continuously pressed, the power level is
automatically increased or reduced. Another option is to change the power
in steps by touching the relevant sensors successivley.
Power display indicates »0«, or „H", depending on the existing
temperature of the cooking zone (see Section Remaining Heat Indicator).
You can also turn off the cooking zone prior to the end of cooking and use
the remaining heat to save energy.
