Threading MAB 480:
Select the tap adapter ZGA xxx that is appropriate for the tap or, in
case of the quick-change drill chuck, select the correct quick-change
insert in accordance with the shaft size.
After the core hole has been drilled, change to the lowest gear stage
and insert the tap. After the tap has been put on, it is automatically
pulled into the material. Then you have to move the machine slide with
slight pressure.
If the desired length of thread is finished, change to counter clockwise
rotation, start the motor again and the tap will be retracted.
In order to protect the gear, the motor will only start into the other
direction after the speed decreased to zero.
Caution:
In order to protect the first thread cut, rotate the motor slide upwards
after the tap was retracted out of the material.
Switch off the motor
Press on 0 of the Motor switch and wait
until the motor has completely stopped.
Release the magnet
Set the Magnet switch to position 0.
