3. Additional safety instructions

Carefully read the directions for use before you start working with
the machine
−
Always use safety goggles in order to avoid eye injury
−
The machine is very loud. Please use ear protection
−
Use a safety helmet in case of overhead work
−
Disconnect the machine from the mains before you change the
tool. Caution: Then the power supply to the magnet is also
disconnected
−
Secure the machine with the enclosed chain when working
−

Always wear safety harness when working on a scaffold
In the case of an interruption of the power supply, the machine
oscillates dangerously.
The power supply to the magnet is also disconnected

Always see that the main supply line is not damaged
−
The magnet causes magnetic and electromagnetic fields which
may have an adverse effect on medical implants
−
The surface for the electromagnet must always be clean and plain
−
The magnetic adhesion depends on the material's thickness and
condition
−
Layers of lacquers, zinc and scale will reduce the magnetic
adhesion
−
For overhead work only use BDS ZHS 400 high-performance
lubrication spray. Normal cutting oils used for overhead work
could run into the motor and cause a short-circuit
