Before first Use
Remove the scale of the packaging. Dispose of packaging material.
Plastic bags etc. may become a deadly toy for small children.
Intended Use
The kitchen scale is intended for weighing non-caustic, non-
aggressive and non-abrasive liquids (e. g. water and milk) and solid
food in domestic household. The weighing of medications and non-
permitted materials is considered as improper use.
Inserting the Batteries
1. Open the battery compartment at the rear side and insert two
batteries of the type LR03 Alkaline 1.5 V (AAA) and observe
correct polarity.
2. Close the battery compartment.
Setting the Time
When using the scale for the first time or when replacing the
batteries you have to set the time first. When inserting the batteries,
the hour indicator will flash.
1. Press ▲ Z/T or ▼ UNIT, to set the hour.
2. Press the button T-SET, to skip to the minute indicator.
3. Press ▲ Z/T or ▼ UNIT, to set the minutes.
4. Press T-SET. The time is now adjusted.
If you need to re-adjust the time, press and hold the button T-SET.
Repeat the above mentioned steps.
Setting the Units of Measurement
The scale includes the metric and the Anglo-American weighing
system. From 0 g – 999 g the unit is shown in g or oz and from 999
g in kg or LB/oz.
Additionally liquids can be weighted.
