6 FUrTHEr INFOrmATION
6.1 cOnnectiOn cHecK
When (and as long as) the parent unit is in contact with the baby unit, the connec-
tion LED
When the baby unit gets out of range (or is switched off), the connection LED
on the parent unit will start to flash.
If the connection is not restored within 30 seconds, a beep will sound every 10 sec-
onds.
Once the connection between the parent unit and the baby unit is restored, the con-
nection LED
Additionally, when the units are loading up, the connection LED
few seconds during which time the units will search for one another. When the con-
nection is made, the LED will be lit steadily.
NOTE: if the Full Eco mode is enabled, the connection check will not function and
the connection LED will remain off!
6.2 Battery indicatOr
Both the parent and baby units come equipped with a battery level indicator (
Baby unit
•
The battery indicator will not be displayed when the baby unit is powered by
the power adapter.
•
When the batteries are running low, the battery indicator will start to blink. At
this point we advise you to replace the batteries in the baby unit or to connect
the power adapter.
•
If you do not change the batteries or do not connect the power adapter, the
baby unit will switch off after a while. The connection LED on the parent unit
will also start to blink. Once you replace the batteries or connect the power
adapter, the functions will operate as normal again.
Parent unit
•
If batteries are installed into the parent unit and the power adapter is con-
nected, the battery indicator will be lit. This indicator will not go off when the
batteries are fully charged.
•
When the batteries are running low, the battery indicator will start to blink and
4 short alerts will sound every 10 seconds. you should now reconnect the
power adapter to ensure the parent unit continues to function.

The batteries will then be recharged (icon will flash).
