Below are the recommended steps to clean your
appliance.
1.
Press the power switch to OFF.
A.
To access the power switch, remove the toe kick
by pulling out to release it from the brackets.
2.
Remove all removable parts (such as shelves and
crispers) from the inside of the appliance.
3.
Hand wash, rinse, and dry removable parts and
interior surfaces thoroughly. Use a clean sponge or
soft cloth and a mild detergent in warm water.
Do not use abrasive or harsh cleaners such as
window sprays, scouring cleansers, flammable
fluids, cleaning waxes, concentrated detergents,
bleaches, or cleansers containing petroleum
on plastic parts, interior, door liners, or gaskets.
Do not use paper towels, scouring pads, or
other harsh cleaning tools. These can scratch or
damage materials.
To help remove odors, you can wash interior walls
with a mixture of warm water and baking soda
(2 tbs to 1 qt [26 g to 0.95 L] of water).
CARE AND CLEANING

Wash stainless steel and painted metal exteriors with
a clean sponge or soft cloth and a mild detergent in
warm water. Do not use abrasive or harsh cleaners, or
cleaners containing chlorine. Dry thoroughly with a
soft cloth.

Press the power switch to ON.

To replace, press the toekick panel onto the toekick
bracket to engage the gripping pads.
Both the refrigerator and freezer sections defrost
automatically. However, clean both sections about once a
month to avoid odor buildup. Wipe up spills immediately.
IMPORTANT:
Because air circulates between all sections, any odors
formed in one section will transfer to the other. You
must thoroughly clean all sections to eliminate odors.
To avoid odor transfer and drying out of food, wrap or
cover foods tightly.
Do not use abrasive or harsh cleaners such as window
sprays, scouring cleansers, flammable fluids, muriatic
acid, cleaning waxes, concentrated detergents,
bleaches or cleansers containing petroleum products
on doors and cabinet, plastic parts, interior and door
liners or gaskets. Do not use paper towels, scouring
pads, or other harsh cleaning tools.
For stainless steel models, stainless steel is corrosion
resistant and not corrosion-proof. To help avoid
corrosion of your stainless steel, keep your surfaces
clean by using the following cleaning instructions.
CLEANING THE TOUCH SCREEN DISPLAY ON THE
DISPENSER PANEL (ON SOME MODELS):
1.
Make sure the refrigerator is unplugged or the power
is disconnected before wiping the screen to avoid
unintentionally changing the settings.
2.
Mix a solution of mild detergent in warm water.
Dampen a soft, lint-free cloth with the solution and
gently wipe the screen.
NOTE: Do not spray or wipe liquids directly onto the
screen or over-saturate the cloth.
3.
Plug in refrigerator or reconnect power.
CLEANING THE INTERIOR:
IMPORTANT: Refrigerator shelves with under-shelf, LED
lighting are not dishwasher safe.
