When installed on doors at risk of intrusion, the profile cylinder must be
protected with a VdS-approved class B or C intrusion-resistant door es-
cutcheon (with pull-out protection. Such door escutcheons correspond
to DIN 18257 Class ES 2 (-ZA) and/or ES 3 (-ZA), and/or DIN EN 1906 Pro-
tection Rating 3 and 4.
The administration of a locking system must be subject to particular care.
Particular attention must be paid to the correct assignment of persons to
the keys distributed. Lost keys must also be electronically blocked
immediately.
