SIDE BROOM ASSEMBLY
You will need the three ¼ x 1" long phillips head screws, three lock
washers and three flat washers.
1. Place a lock washer and then a flat washer onto each of the
screws.
2. Place broom bumper onto the broom pulley with the outside
flange facing up. Place side broom on top of broom bumper.
Secure with the three screws.
3. With side broom in place, lower side broom arm. Push sweeper forward to ensure side broom rotates
inwards towards sweeper.
PUSH HANDLE ASSEMBLY
You will need the four ¼ - 20 X 1¼" long slotted screws, four external tooth lock washers, four hex nuts and
six ¼ x 1" long slotted screws.
1. Remove the remaining parts shipped in dirt hopper. If they are in a carton, unpack the carton.
2. If there are two plastic pins in any of the four holes on top
of the dirt hopper, remove them. Attach hopper handle to
the dirt hopper with four of the six ¼ x 1" long slotted
screws; as shown in image.
3. Install dirt hopper onto sweeper frame.
4. Place ends of lower sweeper push handle
into holes of sweeper frame. Push ends in as
far as they will go. You will encounter
some resistance. Secure with the remaining
two ¼ x 1" long slotted screws.
5. Attach upper sweeper push handle to lower
sweeper handle using the four ¼ - 20 X 1¼"
long slotted screws, four external tooth lock
washers and four hex nuts.
