Product Description
The function of a Safety Device Kit (SDK) is to protect against overpressure. For safety reasons, excessive over-pressure in any part of
the refrigeration system must be avoided. SDKs provide a convenient solution will all required components packaged together.
SDKs include PRVs, Rupture Discs and Three Way Dual Shut-Off Valves ('2' models only), along with pressure indicator gauges to
clearly show when the active PRV and Rupture Disc have discharged, and blanking plugs if the secondary rupture disc access port is
not required. The kits are suitable for use on male or female connections with the use of the included adaptor/pipe nipple.

Mounting Instructions
Always use wrenching surfaces provided to assemble and mount an SDK. Where PRVs and Rupture Discs provide upper and lower
surfaces, always use the lower wrenching surface to mount the component itself and the upper wrenching surface for stabalisation
during the attachment of downstream components.

Warnings
1. The application, selection and installation of a Henry SDK Assembly should only be undertaken by suitably qualified or
experienced personnel.
2. The system should be de-pressurised before removing or installing an SDK. Failure to do so may result in bodily injury.
3. Never leave a three-way valve in mid position. The valve should always be fully engaged to one outlet port. Failure to do so
could result in incorrect operation of relief devices fitted to the three-way valve.

For PRVs, select Products Manufactured in the UK > Pressure Relief Valves, and open
the folder matching the ID Code on your valve. Use the Model Number (e.g. 5231B) and Set
Pressure (e.g. 27.6 barg) to locate, view and download your DoC.
For Rupture Discs, select Products Manufactured in the UK > Other Products > Rupture
Discs and use the Manufacturing Code from your Disc to locate your DoC.
