The Newton 1.2.3 IFIX child seat has 2 guides (Q) to be used should
the vehicle not feature them, for positioning the Isofix connector correctly at the
anchor points on the car seat. If necessary, therefore, fix the 2 guides (Q) on the
anchor points of the car seat.

Pulling out both adjustment buttons (M), push the Isofix connectors (L)
outwards to end of travel.

Make sure that the adjustment buttons (M) have gone back into their
housings, checking that the dedicated indicators (M1) have changed from red to
green.

Before placing the child seat on the backrest of the car, free the Top
Tether harness (K1).

Position the child seat on the car seat facing forwards and fit the Isofix
connectors (L) at the anchor points on the car seat until you hear them CLICK
correctly into place.

Caution! The Newton 1.2.3 IFIX child car seat is only connected
correctly when the dedicated indicators (N1) on the release buttons (N)
change from red to green.

Pull out both adjustment buttons (M) and at the same time push the
child seat firmly against the car seat; if the headrest of the car seat gets in the way,
raise it or remove it.

Once the child seat is correctly connected and positioned, ensure that
the indicators (M1) on the adjustment buttons (M) have changed from red to
green.

Always make sure the child seat is fastened correctly before using it. Try
to pull it away, even vigorously.
TOP TETHER CONNECTION
Important: there are 3 main types of Top Tether harness connection
variants, depending on the location of the anchor point inside the
car.
Type A

If present, raise the headrest of the seat and pass the Top Tether harness
(K1) in the middle.

Anchor the Top Tether hook (K) to the hook on the car.

Important: to make the harness adhere correctly, always extend it very
firmly and check that its tension is correct.
Type B

Anchor the Top Tether hook (K) to the hook of the car on the back of the
seat's backrest.

firmly; check its correct tension when the indicator (K3) on the Top Tether device
(K2) becomes green.
Type C

Anchor the Top Tether hook (K) to the hook on the car in the luggage
compartment; the hook is usually highlighted by the dedicated symbol.

Lift the cover and proceed to connect.
