8. TROUBLESHOOTING
Depending on the symptons that you observe, you can probably know the cause of the problem and could even
solve it:
Obstruction
Engine does not work
The engine works
but pumps little or no
water
The pressure group
starts and stops in
very short intervals
of time
Probable cause
The machine is not connected
Damaged cable
Switch damaged
Brushes worn out
Turbine blocked
Overcharge protector activated
Aspiration or impulsion tube obstructed
Turbine blocked
Water below the minimum level
Aspiration tube taking in air
Incorrect priming of the machine
Aspiration height superior to 8 m
Insufficient air pressure on the
membrane or broken membrane
Plug the machine to the mains
Take the machine to the service dealer.
Never try and repair a cable with tape
Take the machine to the service dealer
Take the machine to the service dealer
Unplug the machine and remove the
elements blocking the turbine
Allow to cool for 15 minutes
Unplug the machine and remove the
elements blocking the tube
Unplug the machine and remove the
elements blocking the turbine
Stop the pump and lower the height with
Check the aspiration tube to see whether
Follow steps of point 5.2.3
Change the position of the pump
Check that water does not leak through the
air valve when tightened. If water leaks, the
membrane is broken. Take the machine to
your nearest service dealer.
If water does not leak through the valve,
check pressure and adjust to 1.3 bars.
