FE connection
To discharge EMC interferences, connect the FE connection
O
(1) on the EP end plate of the VS via a low-impedance line
with a functional grounding.
Recommended cable cross-section: 10 mm
When delivered, the screw for the FE connection is assembled
on the EP end plate of the VS HF04.
As an alternative, the FE connection (2) can also be made on the
E end plate or directly on the AS-i (see Fig. 4 on page 58 and
Fig. 5 on page 59).
To do this, unscrew the screw for the FE connection (1) from

the EP end plate of the VS and screw it into the FE
connection (2) of the E end plate or directly in the AS-i. Then
establish the connection with functional grounding there.
