To connect the bus coupler load supply:
1. Place the connection for the load supply (with black profile
cable) on the AUX connection and tighten.
2. Check the operating voltage specifications using the
electrical characteristics and comply with them
(see chapter "Technical data" on page 80).
Maximum power consumption via AUX: 30 mA per valve
solenoid.

Connecting the sensors

Risk of electric shock on contact!
When connecting peripheral devices (I/O interface),

observe the requirements to protect against accidental
contact in accordance with EN 50178, classification
VDE 0160.
1. Wire the inputs according to Tab. 7.
2. Connect the electrical inputs to the input module with M8
coupling plugs (see "Spare parts and accessories" on
page 81).
3. To ensure the IP65 protection class, close unused sockets
with M8 or M12 protective caps (accessories).
The inputs or sensor supply are galvanically connected to
the AS-i bus. The connected sensors may only be operated
with the power from an M8 plug. An external power supply
or grounding of the sensors is not permitted.
