Attaching the Pulley/Adjusting the Speed/Tensioning the Pulley
1. The laser drill machine is equipped with 5 different speed adjustments. The
speed can be adjusted by placing the pulley (part no. 62) on both motor
pulleys (part no. 60 and 65).
Before replacing the pulley, switch off the machine and pull the power plug!
2. Remove the pulley casing (part no. 64) by unscrewing the casing screw (part
no. 63). Use a long Philips heads screwdriver. Unscrew the bolt (part no. 58).
To loosen the bolt, turn clockwise.
3. Place the pulley according to the desired speed to the appropriate sections of
the pulleys (see drawing). Only place the pulley at the same height of the
pulleys. Never place it on different sections! Please also observe the working
speed table on page 22 for the appropriate material.
4. Tighten the belt by turning the bolt (part no. 58) to the left. Check whether the
belt is tensioned correctly. If so, you have to be able to depress the belt for
approx. 1 cm in the middle.
Do not overtighten the belt! If you want to tighten the belt at future you must
not open the pulley cover, only adjust the clamping screw for the pulley (part
no. 57).
5. Remove the belt if you do not use the drill machine for long period of time.
