V. OPERATION
5.1- Intended use
- The product is intended for indoor domestic use.
- The product is intended for forward/reverse screwing.
5.2- Operation:
WARNING: RECOMMENDATION FOR THE USE OF A RESIDUAL CURRENT DEVICE WITH A RATED
RESIDUAL CURRENT OF A 30mA OR LESS.
1. Ensure that battery is fully charged. Before initial use, ensure to charge battery pack fully.
2. Wear appropriate protective equipment.
3. Insert socket or accessory in the chuck. Only use accessories whose rated speed is at least equal to
the normal operation speed of the tool.
4. Prepare material for work
5. Secure material if necessary.
Do not use your own weight or body to hold material.
6. Firmly hold tool to avoid kickbacks. Always maintain a balanced and secure position.
7. Place bit on material. Do not make sudden movements.
8. Press on switch (3) to start operation.
Never seize the chuck or the bit during operation
9. Once work is finished, stop product by releasing the switch (3).
Note: do not put down product until chuck has completely stopped rotating.
VI. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Before any intervention on product, ensure that switch is off and battery
charger is disconnected from its power source.
6.1- Cleaning
a) Clean the plastic parts with a soft and clean cloth.
Do not use aggressive cleansing agents (solvents, abrasive cleansers) or an abrasive sponge or any
sharp objects.
- Do not use any caustic chemicals to clean the plastics parts.
- Never put or immerse the product in water or any liquid, and ensure that water does not penetrate the
tool or the charger.
Never splash with water or clean with high pressure hose!
b) Clean chuck with a soft brush.
c) Clean ventilation holes with soft brush or spray air.
6.2- Storage
- Clean tool before storage.
- Keep product, user manual and accessories in the original packaging.
- It is recommended to store the product in a clean, dry location, protected from frost, and keep it out
of children's reach (e.g. lock it up).
- Do not store product in temperatures lower than 0ºC (32ºF)
- Do not place or store any object on top of the product.
6.3- Disposal
- Battery: do not throw with household rubbish or into fire or in the environment. Dispose of used
battery in provided collecting centres.
- Tool and charger: do not dispose with household garbage. Do not throw into the environment.
