1. SAFETY
IDENTIFICATION OF WARNINGS
MEANING
DANGER
This term defines a high risk of danger, which can lead to
death or serious injury, if not avoided.
NOTICE
This term defines dangers to the machine and its proper ope-
ration.
Warning of a general danger.
The danger is specified by indications given in the table.
Warning about the dangers associated with the electrical
voltage and provides information about protection against
electrical voltage.
DISCONNECT THE UNIT FROM THE POWER SUPPLY!
2. DESCRIPTION
2.1 APPLICATION
Sanifloor+ is a compact suction pump designed to evacuate wastewater from
a shower only.
This device is intended for strictly domestic application and requires regular
maintenance.
THE MANUFACTURER DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY IF USED FOR ANY OTHER
PURPOSES.
2.2 OPERATING MODE
The device Sanifloor+ consists of 3 elements :
- a shower gulley including a water level detection sensor with radio wave
transmitter,
- a remote box equipped with a radio wave receiver,
- a suction pump.
When the water reaches the switch-on level in the gulley, the detection module
sends out a radio signal. The sensor in the remote box picks up this signal, the
green operation LED lights up, and the pump starts after a delay of 2 seconds.
The pump sucks in water and allows it to flow towards the wastewater pipe.
NOTICE
Incorrect installation configuration.
Risk of radio communication disruption.
Install the remote box in the same room as the shower gulley hole.
A forced start push button located on the remote box allows the pump to run
(20 min) regardless of the condition of the gulley water detection module. The
green LED lights up during this timer. The timer can be stopped by pressing
this button again.
2.3 DESCRIPTION OF THE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The Sanifloor+ radio communication systems consists of a transmitter and a
radio wave receiver. It allows remote control of the single-phase 220-240 V
AC pump of the Sanifloor+. The pump's on/off control is done automatically
according to the water level in the shower gulley.
• RADIO FREQUENCY: 868 MHz
• RECEIVER: power supply 220-240 V AC, 50-60 Hz
• TRANSMITTER: power supply 3V DC
IMPORTANT
This system is sensitive to anything that can interfere with the emission of radio
waves (presence of metal objects, walls etc). The range can therefore be re-
duced depending on the configuration of the installation.
2.4 DESCRIPTION OF THE TRANSMITTER DETECTION
SENSOR
AUTONOMY
The transmitter detection sensor has an autonomy of 4,500 hours in operation
(shower cycles). The sensor's standby consumption is negligible.
IMPORTANT
The battery life may be reduced in certain abnormal use situations in which the
float is permanently engaged, which causes continuous battery consumption.
Eg: module stored upside down, module submerged without possible evacua-
tion of water (mains power cut, pump blocked, evacuation pipe blocked, etc).
When the detection module battery reaches 20% of its battery life, the green
operating LED on the pump starts to flash, indicating a low battery charge.
The module must be replaced with a new one when the battery is discharged.
NOTICE
Do not throw the detection module in the household
waste!
Risk of pollution.
Dispose of with electrical and electronic waste.
STORAGE
NOTICE
Do not turn the module over for extended periods of
time during maintenance, cleaning or storage!
Risk of battery discharge.
Store the module in the same direction as it is in the gulley.
Always put the module back the correct way round so it no longer consumes
its battery:

2.5 PROGRAMMING THE USER CODE
The transmitter and the receiver are paired in the factory with the following
user code:
If there is an identical device within a radius of less than 30 m in an open
field, change the combination of codes. The system has 8 different possible
combinations of user code, allowing use of up to 8 Sanifloor+ in a radius of 30
m in free field. If the user code has to be changed, select the same user code
on the receiver and on the transmitter by moving the 3 selectors located on
the 2 cards:
NOTICE
Do not operate the selectors with a wet tool!
Risk of oxidation of the selectors resulting in poor functioning of radio
communication.
Use dry tools.
NOTICE
If the cover of the detection module is opened, there is a risk of water
entering the detection module.
Grease the seal of the detection module with silicone grease.
3. INSTALLATION
Follow the installation steps as indicated in the enclosed manual.
3.1 SETTING UP
• The device must be easily accessible for inspection and maintenance.
• Activating the detection sensor:
Remove the sensor from the gulley.
Remove the red wedge from the detection sensor then replace the sensor
in the gulley.
• In order to make the most of the latest technical developments in acoustics
included in this device, it is important to:
install the pump, avoiding it touching a wall of the room,
place the pump on a perfectly flat floor,
fasten the outlet piping correctly, avoiding any distances between attach-
ments in excess of one metre.
