• Place the hair dryer on non-flammable surfaces only. Risk of fire!
• Ensure that no hair can be directly sucked into the device. Risk of fire!
Important
• Do not jam the mains cable [10] in drawers or doors, for example.
• Untangle the mains cable [10] if it is twisted.
• Do not pull, twist or bend the mains cable [10] and do not pull or route it over/on sharp, pointed
objects or hot surfaces. Damaged or tangled mains cables increase the risk of electric shock!
Note
A slight odour initially develops after switching on the device for the first time. This is normal and not
harmful to your health. Allow the device to run for three to five minutes. After that you can use the
device as normal.
7. Usage
Drying the hair
> Switch on the hair dryer with fan and temperature button:
1 Gentle airflow
2 Strong airflow
> Select the heat level:
1 Low temperature
2 Medium temperature
3 High temperature
> Select your ion intensity
0 No ions for particularly thin hair
1 Low level of ions for fine hair
2 High level of ions for relatively thick and frizzy hair
> Dry and/or style your hair as you wish.
After each use/at each break, always switch off the hair dryer at the fan switch [6] (setting 0).
> If the unit becomes overheated, it switches off automatically for your safety.
> Remove the plug from the socket and let the unit cool down.
> Before switching the unit on again, check the air outlet [2] and the filter [3] for blockage (e.g.
sucked-in lint, dust, hair).
