REPLACING THE WICK
L
ENSURE THAT THE HEATER IS OFF AND COMPLETELY
COOLED BEFORE STARTING TO REPLACE THE WICK.
1 Open the lid and remove the removable tank.

2 Remove the batteries from the battery holder.
3 Check that both the igniter slide and the flame
regulator are in the uppermost position. Pull off the

plastic covers of the slides.
4 Open the front grill. Remove the combustion chamber
from the heater. Close the grill.

5 Unscrew the screws on the back and sides of the heater.
Pull the cabinet forward slightly and remove it from the
base plate. Unscrew the wing nuts from the wick holder
chassis.
6 Lift the wick holder chassis up until the wick is visible.

Place the burner bed next to the heater. (Ensure that
the wiring does not become disconnected).
7 Push the flame regulator down to adjust the wick
mechanism to its highest setting.

8 Turn the wick holder (with wick) to the left until it is
released and then remove it from the heater.
9 Remove the wick from the wick holder.
