CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

· Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.
· Set the temperature control knob to the OFF position and disconnect the mains plug from the mains
socket.
· Take out the food and store in a cool location.
· Clean the appliance with a soft cloth, warm water and detergent.
· Wipe the door seal with clear water only and then wipe dry thoroughly.
· After cleaning reconnect and adjust the temperature control knob as desired.
· Put the food back into the appliance.
DEFROSTING
While the cooling unit is operating, condensation droplets or rime may form on the back of the unit.
This is normal. Defrost the unit when an ice layer of approx. 6 mm begins to form. Defrosting will take
a few hours. You can speed up the process by removing all frozen parts and leaving the door ajar for a
short period of time. Never use sharp or pointed objects to remove ice from the refrigerator or cooling
compartment.
