Communication cable:
If the display unit shows
1. One battery is disconnected, open circuit or over-voltage condition.
2. The remote sensor is not connected.
3. Overload current ï
4. Photovoltaic solar panel short circuit.
The symbol
is automatically cleared once the error has been corrected.
Telecommunication port: While the meter is powered through current or an independent power source, if
that communication is interrupted, the display units will show 4 dashes and will not respond. The display unit
will be active again when the communication is restored.
N.B.: The displayed data are communication-related data, make sure that the error is not due to incorrect cable
connection or to the presence of strong interference. An excessively long cable may also be read as an error.
The data will update every 20 seconds.
Battery capacity indicator flashing: each mark corresponds to 20% of the total battery capacity. The flashing
mark indicates the current capacity. If, for instance, the first mark is flashing, it means that the battery capacity
is 1-19%, while if the second mark is flashing, the battery capacity is 21-39%, and so on.
N.B.: The calculation is based on the assumption that 100% is the full charge and 0% is an excessively low
charge condition. The calculation is based on the battery voltage and not on the actual battery capacity.
Battery capacity (AH): AH refers to the charge build-up, calculated every one minute. If the charging current
is too weak, data will not be accurate. The minimum value shown is 1 AH, which is equal to a charge of 1
Ampere every 1 hour
