PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS
The iron is used for ironing fabrics including clothing. Proper, reliable and safe operation of the product depends on appropriate
use, that is why you should:
Read and keep the entire manual before the fi rst use of the product.
The supplier shall not be held liable for any damage or injury resulting from improper use of the product, failure to observe the
safety regulations and recommendations of this manual. Use of the product for purposes other than those for which it was intend-
ed shall cause the loss of the user's rights to the guarantee and under warranty.
ACCESSORIES
The product is supplied complete and does not require assembly. The product comes with a fi lling cup that allows to measure the
amount of water to be poured into the iron's tank. The fi lling cup also makes it easier to pour water into the iron's tank.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The appliance has been designed for home use and is not allowed to be used in commercial applications.
The appliance heats up to a high temperature during use. Be careful when operating the appliance. Improper use of the appliance
may result in serious burns and/or fi re.
Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is connected to a power supply.
Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than ironing fabrics, e.g. for heating or defrosting.
It is forbidden to repair, disassemble or modify the appliance on one's own. All repairs must be carried out by an authorised service
centre.
The product is not intended for use by children under at least 8 years of age and by persons with reduced physical and mental
abilities and by persons without experience in or understanding of the operation of the product. Unless they will be supervised or
instructed to use the product safely, in a manner ensuring that the risks involved are understood. Children should not play with the
product. Unattended children should not be allowed to perform the cleaning and maintenance of the appliance.
Keep the iron and power cord out of reach of children under 8 years of age while the iron is connected to the power supply or
cooling down.
Recommendations for connecting the appliance to the power supply
Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, make sure that the voltage, frequency, and performance of the power supply
correspond to the values shown on the appliance's rating plate. The plug must fi t into the socket. It is forbidden to modify the plug
or socket in any way for the purpose of fi tting.
The appliance must be connected directly to a single power supply socket. The mains supply circuit shall be equipped with a
protective conductor and a protective device of at least 16 A. When using extension cords, use an extension cord with three wires
that can withstand a 16 A current load.
Avoid contact of the power cord with sharp edges, hot objects or surfaces including iron's soleplate. During operation, the power
cord must always be fully extended and the position of the power cord must be set so that it does not become an obstacle during
product operation. The power cord should not be placed in a manner that would pose a risk of tripping. The power supply socket
should be located in a place where it is always possible to quickly remove the product power cord plug. Always pull the power cord
by the plug housing when unplugging it, never by the cord.
If the power cord or the plug is damaged, immediately disconnect it from the power supply and contact an authorised service
centre of the manufacturer for replacement. Do not use the product with a damaged power cord or plug. The power cord or plug
cannot be repaired and must be replaced with a new one that is free of defects if these components are damaged.
Instructions for use
Disconnect the power cord plug from the power supply socket before fi lling in the iron tank with water or emptying it.
When the iron is in use, the soleplate is heated up to the high temperature and steam is generated. Contact with soleplate or
steam can lead to serious burns.
The water tank cover must always be properly closed when ironing.
The iron must be used and placed on a fl at and stable surface. If the iron is placed on its own base, make sure that the base is
placed fi rmly.
Do not use the iron if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking. Return a defective iron to an
authorised service centre for repair before reusing it.
When using the iron, always hold the iron by the handle. Never touch the iron's soleplate.
Do not iron clothes that are on the body of the user or others. Using the iron in this way will cause serious burns. The steam outlet
must never be pointed in the direction of people or animals.
Pour only clean tap water, demineralised water or distilled water into the iron tank. Do not add any substances, e.g. perfume to the
