TPMS UPDATE
1. Insert the USB key with the updated software
into the USB port of the S 1000 and wait 10 seconds.
2. Select UPDATE TPMS then press the confirm but-
ton (Fig. 36h).
The message in Fig. 36i is displayed.
- If the update does not start after 10 attempts, an
error message is displayed (Fig. 36l).
Press the confirm key
previous screen, then repeat the steps from point
1.
- If the update starts, the installation progress of
the new file is displayed (Fig. 36m).
- If the installation procedure is interrupted, the
message shown in Fig. 36n is displayed.
In this case, press the confirm key
back to the previous screen, then repeat the steps
from point 2.
- If the system cannot read the USB key, the mes-
sage in Fig. 36o is displayed.
Press the confirm key
previous screen, then repeat the steps from point
1.
3. Once installation is complete, the message in
Fig. 36p is displayed.
4. Remove the USB key.
