commissioning.
- The appliance should only be operated once it is fully in-
stalled and all safety equipment has been fitted.
- Protect the appliance from dust and dirt during building
work.

3. Appliance description
The WPE heat pump extension supplements the WPM system
with additional functions. settings for the additional functions
can be made on the programming unit of the WPM heat pump
manager.
The WPE heat pump extension provides:
- Two additional heating circuits with mixer
- A swimming pool controller for primary and secondary
integration of a swimming pool
- Two additional 0-10 V interfaces
- A differential controller
- switching outputs
The WPE heat pump extension:
- Enables incorporation of a second DHW cylinder with sep-
arate DHW program
- Allows cascades of up to six heat pumps
- supplements the basic functions of the WPM heat pump
manager with options for connecting a building manage-
ment system

4. Installation
4.1
Minimum clearances

We recommend leaving sufficient space to the left or right of
the appliance so that you can hang the front fascia on the side
of the appliance when opening it.
4.2 Installation location
The appliance is designed exclusively for wall mounting.
f Install the appliance to the left or right of the heat pump

manager.
f Install the device on a smooth installation surface. This will
f
make it easier to lay the electrical cables.
f Ensure that the back of the wall mounting enclosure is not
f
accessible once mounted.
f Protect the appliance against humidity, dirt and damage.
