MAINTENANCE
To allow the battery to fully charge and produce as much light as possible, keep the solar panel free of dirt, debris
and snow. Failure to do so could shorten the life of the battery. Clean regularly with a dampened cloth or paper towel
and check the battery periodically throughout the year, especially after the winter and replace as needed.
• For first-time use, let the solar light charge for a full sunny day for the rechargeable battery to operate properly.
Allow at least 10 days and nights of charging and draining for the battery to charge to its full capacity.
• If there has been no sunlight during the day, the battery will not be sufficiently recharged for nighttime operation.
If the solar light does not receive enough sunlight one day, it will recharge the next sunny day and resume normal
operation.
• The selected location should not be near strong lighting sources such as street lights or garden lights. This may
cause the light to turn off automatically as there is a sensor inside the solar light that switches off the light once it
senses any lighting source.
• Store the solar light where it will receive daily sunlight to ensure the battery maintains a charge during storage.
Storing the solar light in a place without a source of sunlight will damage the battery and prevent its ability to
hold a charge.
• During prolonged storage, the solar light must be fully drained and charged once a month or must be replaced
with a new rechargeable battery when ready for use. For best performance and optimum battery life, do not store
for prolonged periods.
• Ensure the solar panel isn't dirty, as this will prevent the battery from fully recharging and clean regularly with a
damp cloth or paper towel.
