3. When the object to be drawn has reached its final position, turn off the winch.
Secure the load against rolling, tilting, etc.
4. Release the clutch by turning the clutch knob (2) counter clockwise and
release the steel cable as far until the hook can be removed.
5. Wire in the steel cable, but only as far that the cable loop is not running on the
cable drum. Make sure that the cable runs cleanly on the drum turn next to
turn. Amounting turns may jam or damage the winch or damage the cable. Be
careful to avoid tangles and kinks. Do not let the hook run on the drum to avoid
damaging the winch.
6. Disconnect the clamps of the power cable from the battery (first disconnect the
plus pole and then the minus pole).
7. Remove the winch from the trailer hitch. Disconnect the two electric plugs and
then store the winch and the accessories in a dry place. Only use the carrying
handle to move the winch.

Using the Hand Crank

1. You can use the hand crank for "emergency
operation". Place the hand crank (12) on the
clutch shaft and secure it with the corres-
ponding nut.
2. Release the clutch by turning the clutch knob
(2) counter clockwise.
3. Turn the hand crank to wire in or out the steel
cable.
4. Turn the clutch knob clockwise to tighten the clutch.
Note
Attention: Never use the hand crank to supplement the motor or to hold the
load with the crank. This may lead to injury or damage to the winch.
