Introduction

1.1 Overview

AquaMATE is a software application meant to add functionality to
photometer developed by Tintometer. As the photometer measures chemical
water parameter values, as described later, and stores them with a 6 digits
number, the software downloads the values through an infrared modem into a
PC and whenever possible builds series of tests and allocates each of them to
a specific swimming pool of a particular customer. This data together with the
swimming pool configuration data are then reusable by AquaMATE to enable the
user of the software to interpret the water quality, correct parameters and use
other tools available in the software.
AquaMATE can also be used independently from the photometer, by entering
the data manually or using the built-in tools by entering the required values
manually.
AquaMATE is essentially built as a Multi Document Interface. Each document
may be characterized as an individual module having a specific function as
described below.
The main modules are accessible through buttons in the main menu toolbar.
