mix coolants in the recovery units and especially not in the cylinders. If the compressors or
the oils in the compressors have to be removed, make sure they have been discharged to an
acceptable level to ensure that the flammable refrigerant does not remain in the lubricant.
The evacuation process must be carried out before returning the compressor to the
suppliers. Only use electrical heating of the compressor body to accelerate this process.
When the oil is removed from a system, this must be performed in safety conditions.
Initial safety checks shall include:

Those capacitors are discharged: this shall be done in a safe manner to avoid
possibility of sparking;

That there no live electrical components and wiring are exposed while charging,
recovering or purging the system;
